How to adjust the high fuel consumption of LNG vehicles

The adjustment method of gas supply for LNG natural gas vehicles is as follows: when the gas cylinder booster starts to work, adjust the gas supply within the range of 0.8~ 1.2Mpa; when the pressure in the tank exceeds the set value of the economic regulator (lower than the pressure of the first-class safety valve, which can be adjusted), open the economic regulator to discharge gaseous natural gas into the liquid outlet, so as to reduce the pressure and temperature in the tank and save energy. The economic regulator is only effective when the vehicle is running, but not when the engine is stopped.

If the fuel flow exceeds a certain limit, the fuel outflow path will be cut off to protect the safety of fuel, which usually happens when the gas supply system leaks. It has been applied to ignition engines and compression-ignition natural gas-diesel dual-fuel engines.

However, this air supply mode has obvious shortcomings. Natural gas generally accounts for 10% ~ 15% of the intake air, which affects the combustion process and power increase of the engine. The gas injector is arranged at the intake valve of each cylinder, which can supply gas to each cylinder regularly and quantitatively. It is usually an electronically controlled multi-point gas injection system.
