The second solar term in summer
The twenty-four solar terms are the traditional aesthetic and life wisdom of China. Xiaoman is the eighth of the 24 solar terms in the lunar calendar. Its meaning is that from Xiaoman, the seeds of summer sowing crops such as barley and winter wheat in the north have borne fruit and are gradually full, but not yet mature, so it is called Xiaoman.
Xiaoman is a season of suffering. Although it indicates that the wheat will be ripe soon, it is still green and yellow. Bitterness is the real taste of summer. On the roadside by the wall and in front of the grass steps, the bitter vegetables in Huang Cancan are in full bloom, quietly showing their happiness. It is said that bitter vegetables are sweet after frost, so who in the Book of Songs said that tea is bitter? So this is the true meaning of life.
