Text/Confused Zen

In the hot summer,

Fluctuating cicadas and plucking strings.

Colorful birds shook their branches and cried wildly.

Fireflies reflect Qingchuan month by month.

Thick clouds and rain and clean dust,

The clear water is full of jade in the pond and fresh lotus roots.

But it must be leisurely and cool,

Greet friends in the breeze.

On the second day of summer, the mountain village was very happy.

Huangdao terraces are criss-crossed.

Dragonflies, water and white lotus,

Butterflies fly sand and count willows.

Fireflies float in the air to cool down,

Cicadas around the valley v Xin Qing.

The farmer will open a sickle tomorrow morning.

I am very happy to see a bumper harvest of nearly 90%.

Precautions:

Great summer heat: one of the 24 solar terms in the lunar calendar, it is the hottest time in a year, with the highest temperature and the fastest growth of crops, just before and after the "mid-crouching" in the dog days. An agricultural proverb says, "When it's hot in the ground, people laugh, but when it's hot at home, people jump." The farmer's proverb goes on to say, "If you don't mow the grass in summer, you will lose a reed a day." Rice, the main grain in a year, will be harvested, and a bumper harvest is in sight.
