Buick LaCrosse 2.4 Idle Matching

1. First, adjust the throttle screw (crosshead screw on the right front side of carburetor) of the carburetor clockwise and counterclockwise, and adjust the engine speed slightly higher than the normal idle speed.

2. Then turn the idle oil concentration adjusting screw left and right (copper screw with prefix on the left side of carburetor, clockwise downward and counterclockwise upward) to find out the maximum engine speed at this throttle position.

3. Adjust the throttle screw of the throttle slightly counterclockwise to reduce the engine speed, then adjust the idle oil concentration adjustment screw to find a higher engine speed, and repeat the method of "releasing the throttle and idling oil" several times until the throttle is adjusted to a certain position, and the maximum throttle speed is equal to the standard idle speed of the whole vehicle.
