How often do you clean the valve?
If the vehicle works in a polluted environment (mainly inhalable particles), there will be accumulated impurities on the throttle valve soon, which will affect the intake of the engine for a long time, so it needs to be cleaned. This phenomenon is most obvious when starting the vehicle.
Some Japanese engine control systems traditionally like to calculate fuel injection and ignition timing by measuring air flow. Therefore, the accuracy of air flow measurement is very strict. A slight blockage can also cause the engine to work abnormally. But for some American engines, if the air flow rate is not used as the calculation basis, there will be no such great response. The normal operation process should be to read the throttle opening with the maintenance computer. If it exceeds a certain value, it needs to be cleaned and matched.
Failure to clean the throttle for a long time will lead to an error in the throttle opening, and air with impurities will enter the engine combustion chamber. These two results will lead to abnormal engine operation, mainly manifested in unstable idle speed, sudden feeling of throttle when driving, reduced power, even difficult starting and increased fuel consumption.
