There are two models of the 2003 Elysee. Please confirm whether your car has 8 valves or 16 valves.

Valve 8, change the Brown water temperature sensor first. If it doesn't stop, there are three relays in the fan box, a water temperature control box under the left fender and a fan relay under the dashboard.

The 16 valve only has three relays in the middle of the fan, a temperature control switch and a temperature control box integrated in the computer.

A simple method to judge the working performance of relay

Turn on the ignition switch, then listen with your ears or stethoscope to see if there is any inhalation sound in the control relay, or feel whether there is any vibration in the relay with your hands. If yes, it means that the relay basically works normally, and the electrical failure is caused by other reasons; Otherwise, the relay is not working properly.

You can also unplug the relay for testing. For example, if the air conditioner compressor fails, you can start the engine, and then turn on the blower switch and the air conditioner switch. Then unplug the connector of the air conditioner compressor relay for judgment.

If you can hear the sound of relay action, and the engine speed drops obviously when the relay is unplugged, and the engine speed rises when the relay is inserted, it means that the relay of air conditioner compressor and its control circuit are normal.

Regarding the position of relays, relays and fuses marked with dotted lines on the circuit schematic diagram are generally arranged in the central distribution box.
