National Day is handmade with clay.

The clay sculptures made by hand on National Day are as follows:

1. Take a proper amount of red clay, roll it into a cylinder, and then flatten it into an oval block.

2. Then cut the ellipse into a rectangle with a knife tool.

3. Then take a proper amount of golden yellow clay, roll it into balls, and flatten the balls into round pieces.

Next, draw the shape of the star on the small disk, and then cut it into small stars with small scissors.

5. Then take a proper amount of golden clay and make four smaller stars in the same way.

6. After that, stick the five little stars in the right place.

7. After that, prepare a piece of thin wooden stick, take a proper amount of white mud and make it into a rectangular sheet (the length is the same as the width of the flag).

8. Then wrap a rectangular piece of paper around one end of the stick.

9. Finally, stick the "national flag" on the white end, and the "five-star red flag" will float. Come and make one!

Matters needing attention in mud kneading project

1. Before making clay sculptures, we should wash our hands and dry them. If we have hand cream at home, remember to put it on, so as to prevent the clay works from cracking and make them smoother.

2. After each use of clay, remember to bring the remaining clay into a sealed bag or box, so as to prevent the clay from drying naturally and being unusable.

3. Before kneading the work with clay, remember to fully knead the ultra-light clay and stretch it several times repeatedly, so that the surface of the kneaded clay work will be smoother and flatter.
