Long summer represents the beginning of summer, so the temperature around long summer will rise, but it will not be too hot. Compared with the solstice in summer, the temperature in long summer will be more comfortable.

Summer or often?

This is the seventh solar term in the twenty-four solar terms of the lunar calendar in the long summer, and it is also the first solar term in summer, marking the official start of the summer season. When the sun reaches 45 degrees through the Yellow River, it is the solar term of long summer. Sinus refers to the southeast, Wei refers to the long summer. Everything is born here, hence the name "Long Summer".

Summer solstice is one of the 24 solar terms, which occurs on June 20th of the Gregorian calendar every year, that is, 2 1 or 22nd. This summer, the sun moved to the longitude of 90 degrees (summer solstice, currently in Gemini), and the position of the sun directly on the ground reached the northernmost point of the year, almost touching the Tropic of Cancer. At this time, the daytime in all parts of the northern hemisphere reaches the longest time of the year.

So the long summer comes first, and the solstice summer comes last.
