First of all, to know how to save fuel, we must first understand the reasons for fuel consumption:

1, driver's technical level: unreasonable shift during driving, excessive braking, artificially increasing engine power loss. At the same time, braking too much will increase the number of starts, because the fuel consumption rate at the start is very high. Low temperature driving requires the engine to run at normal temperature (80℃~ 90℃). If the engine runs without preheating after starting, the engine will be in a low temperature state, which will cause poor atomization of the mixture and incomplete combustion.

2. Technical condition of the engine:

(1) Nozzle: During the long-term use of the nozzle, carbon deposits with incomplete combustion block the nozzle hole, the air filter is too dirty, the idle motor and throttle valve are too dirty, and the gasoline filter is too dirty, which will cause the engine control module to be unable to correctly calculate the fuel injection quantity, resulting in excessive fuel consumption.

(2) Ignition system: If the ignition module does not work well, the high-pressure fire will be weak, the ignition ability will be reduced, and some mixed gases will not be completely ignited, which will increase fuel consumption. Excessive carbon deposition in spark plug, spark plug leakage, spark plug sleeve leakage, and individual high-voltage lines leakage will also reduce ignition ability and increase fuel consumption when individual cylinders are not working.

(3) Valve train: In the valve train, if the valve clearance is too large or too small, the purpose of sufficient air intake and clean exhaust cannot be achieved. At the same time, the valve and the valve port are ablated, which makes the valve not reach the ideal sealing degree and reduces the cylinder pressure and engine power.

(4) Wear of machine parts: With the increase of engine working time, the wear of cylinder, piston and piston ring increases, the sealing performance decreases and the natural oil consumption increases. At the same time, in the process of maintenance, the port overlap of piston ring assembly is also a factor.

3. Lubrication and adjustment of the driving system: the driving of the car is realized by the high-speed rotation of all parts of the transmission system. When the parts of the transmission system are poorly lubricated or the gap is not properly adjusted, it will increase the transmission resistance and cause oil consumption. Incorrect suspension positioning will also increase motion resistance.

Secondly, we divide fuel-saving methods into two categories, driving methods and other methods:

1, driving mode:

(1) Lightly refuel, lightly brake, brake early, and brake less: always step on the accelerator with big feet, and fuel consumption will naturally increase. On the premise of ensuring the normal running of the car, properly reducing the throttle range can not only save gasoline, but also reduce the noise in the compartment. Under the condition of ensuring safety, lightly stepping on the brakes in advance can also save fuel, because in the same driving section, the increase of braking distance means the shortening of stepping on the accelerator. When driving, wait for the car in front to drive a certain distance before starting. Don't get too close to the car and avoid parking.

(2) You can slide, but don't put it in neutral: when the car is driving, cut off the engine power and use the inertia of the car to slide, which is called sliding. Sliding can not only save fuel, but also play a role in reducing parts wear and prolonging tire life. When taxiing while driving, it is necessary to ensure safety, the technical condition of the vehicle should be intact, especially the braking and steering devices should be effective and reliable, the driving should be skilled, the road should be wide and straight, the line of sight should be good, and the traffic situation should not be complicated. First of all, we must clarify a concept: does neutral sliding save fuel? At present, most of the models sold on the market are EFI vehicles. When the EFI vehicle slides in neutral, the engine system injects fuel according to the idle speed. When they slide in gear, there are two situations: when the speed is higher than the idle speed, the engine system stops fuel injection, and when the speed falls back to the idle speed range, fuel injection is carried out according to the idle speed. Therefore, when the EFI car slides in neutral, it is not the most fuel-efficient state. So, if you have the conditions, do more sliding in gear. Buick's vehicles are heavy, and the taxiing distance is long, and D-block taxiing is more fuel-efficient.

(3) Appropriate gear and speed: The gear shifting timing should be selected as far as possible between 1500~2000 rpm, so as to obtain better economy on the premise of ensuring power supply. Don't shift gears too early or too late, too early for lack of power and too late for increased fuel consumption. If conditions permit, the speed can be controlled at 80~90 kilometers per hour, so that a better balance can be found between fuel consumption and speed. Too fast increases fuel consumption, too slow affects efficiency. Don't rush with fuel when the vehicle is stuck in the mud and the wheels slip and idle. You should use stones and stones to build roads or run under the wheels, otherwise it will not only increase fuel consumption, but also make the car seriously worn.

(4) Rational use of air conditioners: Rational use of air conditioners can also reduce fuel consumption. When the temperature is suitable in spring or autumn and the speed is lower than 60km/h, the air conditioner can be ventilated without opening the window, or only using the ventilation function of the air conditioner without using its refrigeration function, so that the air conditioner compressor will not start, thus saving fuel. However, it is not recommended to open the window for ventilation when the speed is higher than 90 kilometers per hour, because the air resistance is very high at this time, and it is more fuel-efficient to turn on the air conditioner.

(5) Route planning is learned: as the saying goes, "All roads lead to Rome", there is often more than one way for us to reach our destination. So it is very necessary to plan the route before going on the road. The correct route can often get twice the result with half the effort, and the fuel consumption will naturally decrease. Find out the driving route before driving and avoid unnecessary detours. Try to avoid stopping to ask for directions, because the starting cost of vehicles is higher. The following principles should be followed when choosing the route: multi-ring road (elevated) and Shaocheng road; Turn right more and turn left less; There are many roads and few paths. Try to avoid traffic jams in time and route, because traffic jams have high fuel consumption. When driving, you should choose a place where it is easy to start, pay attention to the position, drive carefully, reduce the number of times of going forward and reversing, and try to get in place at one time. According to the test, the car will consume 50 ml of fuel when driving backward for 3.5m m.

(6) Warm-up in winter, but not for too long: when you get up in winter morning, you'd better warm up first, which will help to prolong and protect the life of the engine, but the time should not be too long. As long as you see the thermometer rising from the lowest to the scale range, you can start. Otherwise, it will unnecessarily increase fuel consumption.

(7) Pay attention to the running-in period of the new car: Whether the driving method during the running-in period is correct will also have a great influence on the fuel economy of the engine in the future. Therefore, we must keep in mind the driving principle that the speed of the new car does not exceed 80 kilometers per hour and the speed does not exceed 3000 rpm during the running-in period, and never break the rules. The influence of main driving factors on fuel consumption is incorrect. Driving fuel consumption increases. The engine cooling water temperature is lower than normal 10 degrees 2.50%. When the cooling water temperature is 50 degrees, the driving speed is lower than the economic speed 10%. Driving is 7%-8% faster than the economic speed. Driving is 9%- 13%. Start 100 times. 2. Other methods:

(1) Buy a fuel-efficient car: Buying a fuel-efficient car does not mean that everyone should drive Li Xia or Alto, but that everyone should choose a fuel-efficient car within their own price or model range.

(2) Careful maintenance: Be sure to go to the service station for maintenance on time. In addition, it is also necessary to add some "small stoves" to your car, such as using better quality lubricating oil that meets the requirements of your car, or considering using some fuel additives with good reputation. Although this will increase the cost to a certain extent, it will give the owner a return in terms of fuel consumption and engine life. There is a lot of dust suspended in the air. The main component of these suspended small particles is silicon dioxide, a substance harder than metal. Installing air filter can reduce the wear of cylinder, piston and piston ring. At present, a dry air filter with paper filter element is popular, which has the advantages of small mass, low cost, convenient replacement and high filtration efficiency. Generally, it is cleaned every 5000 kilometers. When cleaning, take out the filter element and pat it gently. Do not use gasoline or water for cleaning. The paper filter element must be replaced every 15000 km. The technical condition of automobile chassis has a great influence on fuel consumption. Increased resistance, heating and ringing in any part of the chassis are all signs of power loss and increased fuel consumption. Therefore, strengthening chassis maintenance, good lubrication and correct adjustment can reduce internal resistance and save fuel.

(3) Normal tire pressure: The test shows that when the tire pressure is lower than the normal value, the fuel consumption will increase obviously, and when it is higher than the normal value, the fuel consumption will decrease slightly. However, because the tire pressure is too high, it will increase the risk of puncture, so try to keep it within the normal tire pressure value. In addition, because the tire pressure table will be different from place to place, it is best for the owner to prepare a tire pressure table for inspection at any time.

(4) Normal load: Don't always load things you don't need at ordinary times. For example, many people have sports goods such as sports shoes, tennis rackets and football in their cars, but they may not use them once every few months or six months. Similar items will increase the load of the car and increase unnecessary fuel consumption over time.
