1962 when did you fall?
The "dog days" are determined according to the ancient "method of keeping records of the sun by the cadres and branches". Every summer to the future, the third Geng Day (referring to the day with the word "Geng" on the trunk and branches) is the beginning period, the fourth Geng Day is the middle period, and the first Geng Day after beginning of autumn is the end period, collectively referred to as the dog days.
It's stuffy and hot in the dog days. Because the surface humidity becomes higher after the dog days, it absorbs more heat and emits less heat every day, so the surface heat accumulates, so it gets hotter every day. When it enters the dog days, the accumulated heat on the ground reaches its peak, and the weather is the hottest. In addition, there is much rain in summer, the air humidity is high, and the heat capacity of water is much greater than that of dry air, which is also an important reason for the sultry weather.
