Division of seasons and months
The second division method: according to the solar terms. Spring: February 3-May 4; Summer: May 5-August 6; Autumn: August 7th-165438+1October 6th; Winter:165438+1October 7-February 2.
Spring is the first of the four seasons, which generally refers to the period from beginning of spring to long summer in the 24 solar terms, that is, the lunar calendar 1 month to March, the solar calendar from February to May, and the southern hemisphere solar calendar from late September to late February. The remarkable feature of spring is the revival of everything and the changeable climate.
Summer begins with the long summer solar term and ends with the beginning of autumn solar term, that is, from April to June in the lunar calendar and from early May to early August in the solar calendar. The notable feature of summer is high temperature, but because of China's vast territory, the summer climate in different regions is the same, and summer is also the most vigorous season for crop growth.
Autumn is from beginning of autumn to beginning of winter, that is, from July to September in the lunar calendar and from August to 10 in the solar calendar. After entering autumn, its typical feature is that rainfall and humidity are obviously reduced, and everything in nature begins to show signs of depression and maturity.
Winter begins in beginning of winter in the twenty-four solar terms and ends in the beginning of spring, that is, October to December in the lunar calendar and October to early February in the solar calendar. The remarkable feature of winter is that everything begins to sleep. In most parts of our country, the weather is cold, animals will sleep and migratory birds will fly to warm places for the winter.
Other divisions of the four seasons are based on:
Astronomical division: the division of four seasons emphasizes the meaning of four seasons climate. In a year, the season with the longest day and the highest sun height is summer, and the season with the shortest day and the lowest sun height is winter. The transitional seasons between winter and summer are spring and autumn.
Climate division method: generally, 65438+ 10 is the coldest month, so spring is March, April and May; Summer is June, July and August; Autumn is September, 10,11; Winter is 12, 1, February. This division of four seasons is more suitable for temperate regions with distinct seasons.
