The installation of the fuel injection pump can take the following steps:

1. Turn the piston of the first cylinder to the top dead center (there should be a timing mark on the crankshaft pulley or flywheel, or remove the injector of the first cylinder for observation).

2. Observe the valve clearance. If there is a gap between the intake valve and the exhaust valve, it means that the first cylinder is at the compression top dead center (if there is no gap, turn the crankshaft again, that is, 360 degrees). In a four-stroke engine, the crankshaft rotates 720 degrees and each cylinder does work once.

3. Turn the calibration plunger of the first cylinder of the fuel injection pump to the highest point (i.e. the position of the oil outlet), and then install the fuel injection pump.

4. Then pump diesel oil and let the air out.

5. Fine-tune the fuel injection advance angle after starting.
