Source: Du Fu's Remembering Brothers on a Moonlit Night in the Tang Dynasty.
This poem was written by Du Fu in Qin Zhou in the autumn of 759 in Gan Yuan, Tang Suzong. In the 14th year of Tianbao in Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty (755), An Shi Rebellion broke out. In September of the second year of Gan Yuan, An Lushan and Shi Siming set out from Fanyang to the south, captured Bianzhou and entered Luoyang in the west. Shandong and Henan are at war.
At that time, Du Fu's younger brothers were scattered in this area, and because of the war, there was no communication, which made him feel intense anxiety and yearning. This poem is a true record of his thoughts and feelings at that time.

Famous comments
Poet's Broken Jade: Du Zimei is good at using stories and sayings. He uses them by isolating or reversing sentences. If he covers them in this way, his words will be healthy and his meaning will be profound and stable (women's history). For example, "He knows that the dew will be frost tonight, and the moonlight at home is so bright!" That's right.
Du Yi: Just "the sound of geese" means thinking of my brother. Remember my brother for the bright moon, and the feeling of dew increases its whiteness. The bright moon is not as bright as my hometown. Thinking of my brother in my hometown is different, and the scenery changes for it.
