The Records of the Western Regions in Datang, also known as the Records of the Western Regions, is a geography history book compiled by Xuanzang in Tang Dynasty, which was written in the twentieth year of Zhenguan in Tang Dynasty (646).

The Records of the Western Regions of Datang recorded what Xuanzang saw and heard when he set out from Chang 'an (now Xi 'an) and personally traveled to the western regions, including more than 200 countries and city-states, as well as many different nationalities. The book records the life style, architecture, marriage, funeral, religious belief, bathing and healing, music and dance of all nationalities in the western regions, and reflects the customs of the western regions from different levels, angles and depths.
