What are the formation phenomena of fog, ice, snow, rime, dew and hail (urgent)
Frost, snow and hail are small ice crystals directly condensed by water vapor in cold weather.
Fog and dew are small water droplets liquefied by water vapor.
Rime is condensed, ice is condensed by water, and ice is condensed by water vapor.
China is the first country to record rime in the world. For thousands of years, ancient China people gave rime many names and praises. As early as the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC), there were records about "planting crops" in Spring and Autumn Annals, some of which were called "tree-brokers", which is now called "rime".
Rime is a kind of white or milky opaque ice layer attached to the windward surface of ground objects (such as branches and wires). It is also formed by condensation of supercooled water droplets. When supercooled water droplets (temperature below zero) collide with objects also below freezing point, rime will be formed.
