Throttle maintenance

Throttle is a controllable valve to control the air entering the engine. By adjusting the air intake of the engine, the fuel injection quantity of the engine is controlled. After the air enters the intake pipe, it will be mixed with gasoline to form a combustible mixture, which will be successfully formed after combustion. However, when the engine is in use, carbon deposits will gradually appear around the throttle. Once too much carbon is deposited, the valve will be blocked, which will lead to inaccurate intake control, increased fuel consumption, unstable idle speed and poor acceleration. Therefore, it is very necessary to maintain the throttle valve regularly.

Driving on dusty roads all the year round, or driving for a long time and a short distance, the throttle is more likely to accumulate carbon. Under normal circumstances, it is recommended that riders clean and maintain the throttle every 20,000 kilometers. Engine air filtration maintenance

The "air filter" is equivalent to the mask of the engine, which filters the air entering the engine cylinder and removes impurities, dust, sand and other foreign bodies entrained in it. After driving for a certain mileage, a lot of dust will accumulate on the air filter, which will hinder the air circulation and reduce the air intake of the engine, resulting in the decline of automobile power and the increase of fuel consumption.

In general, riders are advised to replace the air filter every 1000 km. Cars often run on dusty roads, and the filter element is covered with dust. Although the replacement mileage has not yet arrived, the filter element must be replaced. Continued use may cause foreign matter to enter the engine, resulting in abnormal wear of engine cylinder wall, piston and valve, leading to engine overhaul. According to the suggestion of the service center, the replacement cycle can be shortened or extended according to the actual vehicle condition.

Spark plug maintenance

Spark plug is an important part of engine ignition system, which can introduce high voltage electricity into combustion chamber and generate sparks to ignite combustible mixture in cylinder. The aging or carbon deposition of spark plugs will lead to poor ignition in the combustion chamber and insufficient combustion of gasoline, which will lead to an increase in automobile fuel consumption. The service life and replacement cycle of spark plugs of different models and materials are also different. It is recommended that riders check the spark plugs in daily maintenance and replace the old spark plugs regularly.
