How much winter wheat should be planted per mu?

The sowing amount of winter wheat varies with different regions, sowing methods and seeds, ranging from-0 kg to -30 kg per mu/kloc.

Winter wheat has a strong cold resistance during its growth, and its seedlings can survive the winter. When spring comes, the seedlings split and grow up quickly, and the flour ground by winter wheat is delicious.

Spring wheat has strong drought resistance, short ear and short growth period, which is suitable for spring sowing, but it is not as delicious as winter wheat flour.

Spring wheat is planted in very cold places in winter. Because winter is too cold to sow, it is planted after spring, which is called spring wheat. Winter wheat is planted in warm places. Sow in winter and harvest in summer. For example, spring wheat is planted in Northeast China, and winter wheat is planted in North China and its south.

Winter wheat should be sown in autumn and harvested in late spring. In China, it is generally bounded by the Great Wall, with spring wheat in the north and winter wheat in the south.

Contact with foreign countries:

1. There are wheat belts and corn belts in the central agricultural area of the United States, which can be considered as a "small" lying flat with a jade stick (corn belt) in the middle, similar to the Great Wall of China, with wheat belts on both sides, spring wheat in the north and winter wheat in the south;

2. Because of its low latitude and warm climate, Australia's wheat-grazing belt can only grow winter wheat similar to that in North China.

According to sowing date, it can be divided into winter wheat and spring wheat. China is dominated by winter wheat.

Three major wheat producing areas in China:

1. The northern winter wheat areas are mainly distributed in Qinling Mountains, north of Huaihe River and south of the Great Wall, where the winter wheat production accounts for about 56% of the total wheat production in China. Mainly distributed in Henan, Hebei, Shandong, Shaanxi, Shanxi and other provinces.

2. Southern winter wheat areas, mainly distributed in the south of Huaihe River in Qinling Mountains. This is the main rice producing area in China. Planting winter wheat is beneficial to improve multiple cropping index and increase grain yield. It is characterized by high commodity rate. The main producing areas are concentrated in Jiangsu, Sichuan, Anhui and Hubei provinces.

3. Spring wheat area, mainly distributed in the north of the Great Wall. The temperature in this area is generally low and the production season is short, so it is mainly harvested once a year. The main producing provinces are Heilongjiang, Xinjiang, Gansu and Inner Mongolia.
