Human veins, how to distinguish meridians?
Jingxing-Yushu Meridian is five special acupoints in the twelve meridians, from limbs to elbows and knees, which are collectively called Five Shu points. Ancient physicians vividly compared the movement of qi and blood in human body with the movement of natural water. For example, "The Nine Needles and Twelve Origins of Lingshu" points out: "Keep it as a well, slide it for prosperity, note it as a loss, do it as a classics, enter it as a combination, and all the actions are lost in five." That is to say, the place where pulse gas speaks is called well, the place where pulse gas just started to be as popular as running water is called Xing, the place where pulse gas gradually flows to the depths is called Losing, the place where pulse gas flows rapidly is called Jing, and the place where pulse gas converges is called He. The qi of the meridians of the twelve meridians and the Tenth Five Meridians is combined into twenty-seven qi, and the places where the twenty-seven qi enters, flows and runs are all in these five acupoints-Jing, Xing, Shu, Jing and He.
