Passat throttle switch explanation

Open the hood.

● Never lift the windshield wiper arm away from the windshield before opening the engine compartment cover, otherwise the paint surface of the compartment cover may be damaged.

● Pull the opening handle in the direction of the arrow in the figure, and the hatch cover will bounce off slightly under the action of the spring mechanism.

● Lift the opening handle in the direction of arrow, lift the engine compartment cover and open it.

● With the help of pneumatic components, support and fix the engine compartment cover to the top.

Close the hood.

● Slowly close the engine compartment cover to a lower position.

● Let go and let the engine compartment cover fall into the locking device. -Don't press it!

If the hood is not completely closed, please reopen the hood and close it correctly.
