Why do we click when we snap our fingers?

We know that without a few tendons, our fingers can't move. These tendons can help us connect all muscles and joints. Tendons on fingers are called tendons, and these tendons are surrounded by very long tendon sheaths. We can think of these tendons as ropes, and this tendon sheath is equivalent to a pulley. Of course, this pulley is inseparable from a lubricant, and it is the synovium that plays this lubricating role.

Because this tendon can secrete this lubricant synovium, our fingers don't have to suffer so much friction when they are useful back and forth, so they can bend and stretch so easily. When we break a finger, the strength of this tendon will deform the joint of the finger, and the deformation will lead to negative pressure in the joint cavity, which will turn the gas in the joint capsule into bubbles and then squeeze them out. Then the bubble will burst.

When I was a child, I often watched those movies and TV works, twisting my neck and snapping my fingers. It feels like a very powerful appearance, so we will imitate them. In fact, a normal snapshot will not cause pain. It should be noted that after a finger snaps, it will not ring for the second time within 5 minutes.

In fact, besides fingers, we can also make this clicking sound in other parts, such as our waist, such as our thighs, knees, pelvis, spine, neck, and some sedentary people. When you get up and stretch, you will find that your waist will make a clicking sound.
