Basic introduction of xinghaiwan square

Xinghaiwan Square is a famous tourist attraction in Dalian.

This square is located in the beautiful Xinghai Bay, named after the bay, with a total area of 45,000 square meters, which is the largest square built in Dalian since 1899 was founded. The project was completed in 1997. Her design is fully integrated into the traditional culture of China. In the center of the square is the largest white marble watch in China, with a height of19.97m and a diameter of1.997m to commemorate the return of Hong Kong to the motherland. The base of Huabiao and Zhou Chang are decorated with dragons. The center of the square draws lessons from the design scheme of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. It consists of 999 pieces of Sichuan red marble surrounded by a yellow five-pointed star. Red and yellow symbolize the descendants of Chinese people. Heavenly stems and earthly branches, 24 solar terms and 12 zodiac are engraved on the marble. There are also five large palace lanterns around the square, which are supported by white marble pillars and are 12.34 meters high. Glory and brilliance complement each other with the Chinese dining table. All these have accumulated the essence of China traditional culture. The huge five-star red flag in the square symbolizes that our country originated in China. And make it carry forward, around the square, according to the atlas since the Eastern Zhou Dynasty and the Western Zhou Dynasty, nine cauldrons with different shapes were carved. Every cauldron has a Chinese character in the form of Wei Bei, which constitutes the great unity of the Chinese nation. It is held by nine cauldrons, symbolizing the unity and prosperity of Shenhua, and it is more important than Mount Tai, which shows the common aspiration of China people at home and abroad. This square shows Dalian people. It also expresses Dalian people's sincere feelings for the Chinese nation. The huge star-shaped square echoes the sea from a distance. There are stars and the sea, which is just a symbol of the Star Bay. The diameter of the circle in the square is 199.9 meters, which means the anniversary of 100 Dalian's founding 1999. The outer diameter of the square is 239.9 meters, which means that Dalian will celebrate its 500th anniversary in 2399.

Starting from Xinghai Square, the exhibition center is 500 meters north along the Central Avenue, and the vast sea is 500 meters south. The central avenue is paved with red bricks, and the west side is paved with patterns of green grass and boxwood. Every 20 meters, a pillar lamp in the shape of a lamp tower is set up, heading for the sea, which expresses the open-mindedness and demeanor of China people facing the sea and going to the world after a century of national humiliation.
