What's the difference between traditional throttle and electronic throttle?
Four kinds. There are four types of electronic throttles: electro-hydraulic type, linear electromagnet type, stepping motor type and DC servo motor type. However, electro-hydraulic type and stepping motor type are rarely used in automobiles because of their low control accuracy, and linear electromagnetic type is rarely used in automobiles because of its high power consumption. DC servo motor can overcome the above two situations well, so it is widely used in automobiles. In addition, the throttle valve also needs to be replaced regularly, and the length of time mainly depends on the quality of the air filter, oil quality, vehicle road conditions and other factors.
