The beginning of spring interpretation

Beginning of spring is: the first solar term.

Beginning of spring is the first of the twenty-four solar terms, and it was included in the first month solar terms in the official yearbook of Ming and Qing Dynasties. The arrival time is from February 3 to 5 of the Gregorian calendar every year (around the first day of the first lunar month), when the sun reaches 3 15. Beginning of spring is one of the important traditional festivals of the Han nationality.

"Li" means "start". Since the Qin Dynasty, China has always regarded beginning of spring as the beginning of spring. Beginning of spring is divided from astronomy, with warm spring and fragrant flowers in bloom. Spring is growth, cultivation and sowing. The period from the beginning of the Spring Festival to the long summer is called spring.

The so-called "a year's plan lies in spring" has been a major festival in beginning of spring since ancient times, which is called the Spring Festival (renamed after the Republic of China). China attaches great importance to it from the official to the folk, and it has a history of more than 3,000 years since beginning of spring ushered in the Spring. In beginning of spring, the Emperor personally led three officials and nine ministers, and the princes and doctors went to the eastern suburbs to welcome the Spring Festival and pray for a bumper harvest. When you come back, you should reward the ministers and make a Bude order to show your kindness to the people. This kind of activity has influenced the common people and made it a national Spring Festival activity for generations.

Folk activities:

Spring outing (spring outing, parade). After the activities in the county, the people are not to be outdone. They dressed up and began to March. First, people dressed as roosters walked at the front of the line, then a group of people carried the image of a huge spring cow, and then others dressed as cowboys and cows and big-headed dolls sent spring peaches and swallows. Another significance is that after this spring outing, it is a signal to start an outing, and the Dragon Boat Festival is a good time for spring outing (in beginning of spring, spring outing is called tanchun).

People feed each other. Spring cattle: Folk artists make many small mud cows, which are called "spring cattle". Give it to all families, this is called "send it to spring". Picture of Spring Cattle: In some places, a yellow paper with a picture of Spring Cattle is posted on the wall. Yellow stands for land, and spring cattle stands for farming, commonly known as "Spring Cattle Map". Chunwa: Xiangning and other places are used to making small dolls out of silk, called "Chunwa", which are worn on children.
