In summer and autumn, accidents of floating or flooding of cultured fish due to lack of oxygen in the pool water occur from time to time. The reason is not only poor management and poor water quality of the pond, but also directly related to bad weather.

There are three kinds of bad weather that cause fish to float in the pond. 1. Precipitation weather: there is strong sunshine during the day, but there are thunderstorms around the evening, or there is no sunshine in rainy days; Second, sultry weather: it thunders for a long time without rain, and the wind is small. It is sultry for several days, and the weather turns cloudy after a long sunny day; 3. Windy weather: The weather is sunny during the day and the temperature is high. At night, the south wind turns to the north wind, and the temperature drops rapidly. This kind of weather is more common in autumn.

In order to prevent fish from floating and flooding the pond, we should pay attention to watching (listening to) the weather forecast in production, master the weather change information, and take corresponding management measures according to different types of bad weather.

1. In case of bad weather, we should strengthen the inspection of the pond at night so as to find the problem in time and deal with it quickly.

2. In case of bad weather, it is necessary to reduce the feeding amount appropriately, and try to feed in the morning to avoid feeding at night, so as not to aggravate the degree of hypoxia and floating head of fish.

3. In the afternoon, there will be a thunderstorm on a sunny day, and in the low-pressure and sultry weather, the aerator should be started to stir the water at noon to increase oxygen and reduce the oxygen consumption coefficient of the pool water at night.

4. If it rains for several days and the northwest wind blows suddenly at night, and the fish in the pond have serious hidden dangers of floating heads, it is necessary to turn on the machine to increase oxygen or inject fresh water with high oxygen content in front of the floating heads of the fish in the pond around midnight until the fish do not float heads in the daytime the next day.

5. In a pond with no aerator equipment and inconvenient water source, first prepare enough aerators, and once the fish in the pond float seriously, rescue them immediately.
