There are many reasons that cause the engine water temperature to be too high or even "boiling", such as the damage of electronic components (thermostat, cooling fan) of the cooling system, poor heat dissipation of the radiator, and insufficient coolant.

Pull over, but don't turn off the engine right away! Because the temperature of the coolant is already very high and the cooling capacity has reached the limit, if the engine is turned off immediately, the boiling coolant will stop circulating (for most engines, the water pump is driven by the crankshaft).

Of course, it would be better if it was an electronic water pump engine. The temperature is too high to be cooled, and the engine is unbearable. If the engine is idling for a period of time, the continuous circulating coolant can still reduce the influence of high temperature on the engine.

Check whether the lack of antifreeze causes high engine water temperature. Whether the circulation of coolant is not smooth. Secondly, you can also check the water temperature sensor, water pump, thermostat, cooling fan and so on. Can cause the water temperature to be too high. If the hands-on ability is not strong, you'd better go to the repair shop for inspection.
