Does overbearing 2700 with throttle gasket work?
The gasket is made of paper, rubber sheet or copper sheet and placed between two planes to strengthen the seal. It is a sealing element arranged between static sealing surfaces to prevent fluid leakage.
Gasket is a mechanical seal between two objects, which is usually used to prevent the pressure and corrosion between the two objects and the natural expansion and contraction of the pipeline. Because the machined surface can't be perfect, irregular places can be filled with gaskets. Gaskets are usually made of plates, such as padding paper, rubber, silicone rubber, metal, cork, felt, neoprene, nitrile rubber, glass fiber or plastic polymer (such as PTFE). Gaskets for specific applications may contain asbestos.
