Yin-Yang Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Ⅱ)
The first and twenty-fourth solar terms are the solar terms recorded by the ancients in a year with earth rules, and then the length of the sun shadow is recorded.
Twenty-four solar term song
Spring rain shocks spring and clear valley days, summer is full of mountains and summer is connected with heat, autumn dew is cold and frost, and winter snow drifts.
Second, the ruler recorded the length of solar terms, and then drew a map of Artest.
We define Yin and Yang by vertical pole phenomenon, and mathematically give the definitions of Yin and Yang:
Yang = winter shadow-ordinary shadow (1)? Yin = normal sun shadow-summer sun shadow (2)
From formulas (1) and (2), it can be deduced that:
Yang+Yin = shadow of winter solstice-shadow of summer solstice (3)
Draw the length of the observed "Yin" of each solar term into the ecliptic (the earth's orbit around the sun) cut by the twenty-four solar terms, draw a radius from the point represented by each solar term to the center of the circle, and draw a line segment on the radius from the point of each solar term on the circumference according to the length of the observed "Yin" of each solar term, and connect the other ends of each line segment (the red dot in the figure below).
Three, there are six kinds of relations between Yin and Yang: sympathetic mutual hiding, opposition restriction, mutual use, growth and decline balance, mutual transformation of Yin and Yang and self-reconciliation.
1? Sympathy hides sympathy, that is, mutual induction. The combination of yin and yang refers to the interaction between yin and yang in sports. Mutual concealment means that either of the opposing yin and yang contains the other, that is, yin hides yang and yang hides yin.
2? Contradictory constraints. Opposite, opposite. Restraint, that is, restraint and restraint. The so-called yin-yang opposition restriction refers to the mutual inhibition and restriction between yin and yang with opposite attributes in a unity.
Dynamic and static are divided into yin and yang, dynamic is yang and static is yin. Yin and Yang are mutually restrictive, so static can restrict dynamic, which shows the mutual restrictive relationship between dynamic and static, and between Yin and Yang.
3? Mutual roots and mutual use. The so-called mutual use of yin and yang means that yin and yang are fundamental, interdependent, nourishing, promoting and encouraging each other.
"Su Wen Yin and Yang should be like a big theory" said: "What Yin contains is what Yang keeps; Yang is outside, Yin is the guide ",pointing out that Yang is based on Yin, and Yin is equal to Yang; Yin keeps the interior for Yang, while Yang keeps the exterior for Yin. Yin and Yang are mutually used and inseparable, which shows the relationship between Yin and Yang.
4? Balance of growth and decline "elimination" means reduction and consumption. "Long" means to increase and grow. The ebb and flow of yin and yang means that the two aspects of a thing or phenomenon are not in a static state, but in constant movement and change, and the two sides maintain a dynamic balance in each other's ebb and flow movement.
The rise and fall of yin and yang include the rise and fall caused by the mutual restriction of yin and yang and the rise and fall caused by the mutual root of yin and yang.
5? Transformation between yin and yang refers to the yin and yang properties of things or phenomena, which can be transformed into their opposites under certain conditions. As far as nature is concerned, day can be transformed into night, and night can be transformed into day; The weather can drop to rain and the atmosphere can rise to clouds. As far as human body is concerned, viscera function can be ingested, digested and absorbed, and dietary Shui Gu can be transformed into subtle substances needed by human body, and subtle substances can also be continuously transformed into viscera function. As far as diseases are concerned, under certain conditions, heat syndrome can be transformed into cold syndrome, and cold syndrome can be transformed into heat syndrome.
? Neijing explains the mechanism of Yin-Yang transformation by "emphasizing Yin means Yang, Chongyang means Yin", "extreme cold means heat, extreme heat means cold" and "changing things means changing things".
? 6? Self-harmony of yin and yang. The so-called self-harmony of yin and yang means that yin and yang have the ability of self-regulation and can spontaneously move toward the "goal" of maintaining overall coordination and balance. The reason why Yin and Yang are mutually restricted, interacted, balanced and transformed is that both the universe and the human body have the power and trend of "self-harmony of Yin and Yang". If the self-harmony ability of Yin and Yang is hindered, disordered or missing, natural disasters will occur year after year in the universe, and in the human body, it is a disease state in which Yin and Yang cannot self-harmonize.
The following is a schematic diagram of the relationship between Yin and Yang summarized by Professor Ma of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in Basic Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine, so as to help you better understand the relationship between Yin and Yang.
