When adjusting the Pacific Auto Network, first loosen the lock nut and adjusting screw, and insert the specified valve clearance and the same valve plug thickness into the gap between the valve foot and the rocker arm. Pull the plug back and forth by turning the adjusting screw. When the plug feels slight resistance, check and tighten the lock nut. If the gap changes, it needs to be readjusted. Generally speaking, the adjustment methods of valve clearance mainly include cylinder-by-cylinder adjustment and secondary adjustment.

The four valves are two rows, two valves and 24 valves. When the top dead center of a cylinder is compressed, adjust 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,1,12, 13, 14 and14. Turn the crankshaft to the compression top dead center of cylinder 6, and then adjust the remaining 12 valves. Turn the crankshaft clockwise. 1 When the rocker arm of the intake valve just nods, adjust the intake and exhaust of cylinders 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, and then turn the engine for one cycle. When the intake valve of cylinder 6 just nods, adjust the intake and exhaust of 1 cylinder, cylinder 2, cylinder 3, cylinder 4 and cylinder 5. In the cold state, the intake valve clearance is 30 threads and the exhaust valve clearance is 40 threads. After the adjustment, turn the engine and check it again according to the above method.

The simplest method is to start the engine in the following order: 1-5-3-6-2-4, crank to the top dead center of the first cylinder: adjust the six valves of 1-2-3-6-7- 10, and crank to the top dead center of the sixth cylinder after adjustment: adjust 4-5-.
