Why is Dongzhi called the hometown of Yao and Shun?

Dongzhi county, belonging to Chizhou City, Anhui Province, is located in the south of Anhui Province, on the south bank of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. There are Duyao River and Shungeng Mountain in the territory, which is said to be the land of Shungeng, and it has been called Shungeng's hometown since ancient times. Archaeologists have discovered the fifth important ape-man fossil site in China, which contains skull fossils. The skull fossil was named "Dongzhi Man", which proved that there were ancient human activities here.
