What appears in the North Atlantic is called the North Atlantic High. Because its center is relatively stable near the Azores, it is also called azores high.

Azores High School is also called Bermuda High School in America. The azores high is formed near the Azores in the Atlantic Ocean, located in the windless area (North Atlantic), and is a high pressure in the semi-permanent center of a large subtropical zone. It and the Icelandic low pressure produce the North Atlantic Oscillation -NAO. The system has influenced the weather and climate patterns in most parts of North Africa and Europe.
