On which day should we worship our ancestors during the Spring Festival?

In many places, the time for ancestor worship is not always the same. In northern China, it is the 29th day of the twelfth lunar month in some places, the first day of New Year's Day in some places and the third day of New Year's Day in some places. These traditions are thought to have been passed down from many elders to the next generation.

As the saying goes, "Zhu Dexiao comes first". When we warmly welcome the Spring Festival and sit together, we still can't forget our ancestors. Sacrificing ancestors in the Spring Festival is a grand event. In my impression, adults in every family will take their children to the grave to worship their ancestors at this time. Can't say this is superstition. After all, the tradition has been handed down and is well founded. After all, this inheritance is a kind of inheritance.

During the Spring Festival, every family will pay homage to their ancestors. No matter far away, near, rural or urban, they will arrange time to finish such a thing. When you go to the grave, you should also prepare paper money, cakes, meat, cigarettes and wine, not water. Finally, after burning the paper money, they will scatter it on the ground. First of all, they can avoid fire. Second, they can completely put out the flames with water. In my mind, my mother will prepare these things in advance.

Secondly, the order of worship is not necessary. If you can be near, you will be far away, and if you can be far away, you will retreat. After all, the graves in rural areas are all in the wild or fields, so when I was a child, I followed my father, uncle and brother to climb mountains and worship on foot. Now the society is different, and driving is much more convenient. When the elders arrive at their destination, they do nothing in advance, and first light incense and kowtow in front of their ancestors. The words "Bless future generations" are still in my mouth. After that, all of us kowtowed, and the elders pointed to the grave and said who came from which Zhi Zi, when they died, and so on. This is about blood relationship. I couldn't remember it clearly in my mind at that time. Now I grow up slowly to understand the existence of these complicated relationships.

After ancestor worship, they will go to grandparents' home with them, mainly to prevent the elderly from worrying, because it is inconvenient to go when they are old, but they will never forget these rituals in their hearts and ask their children to complete them. The reason for this is probably etiquette, but also a kind of family communication. The most important reason for going to grandparents' house is to see whether the Spring Festival couplets, jiaozi and ingredients are well prepared. Of course, this is probably what every child should do. Until now, I have followed the tradition of my parents.

When you go to the grave, paper money will be used up by your ancestors, and water and soup will be spilled everywhere, so you can't take it home.
