What kind of apples do pandas eat?

Pandas eat almost all kinds of apples.

The fruit fed to pandas must be carefully processed. Apples and pears should be pitted and then cut into five pieces, sometimes with calcium powder in them. For food that has never been seen before, pandas will smell it with their noses first. If it feels good, the panda will feast on it.
