So ECO mode can really save fuel, but in some specific cases, ECO mode stops working.
For example: when parking at idle speed! Because the ECO mode is mainly controlled by the computer when the vehicle is running, it does not work when the vehicle is idling or in manual mode.
For example: climbing a mountain! When climbing a hill requires a large torque output, the ECU control unit will judge to give priority to ensuring enough power to drive the vehicle, and the ECO mode will not work temporarily.
For example: high-speed cruise, high-speed cruise ECO mode is also suspended. Because of high-speed cruising, the vehicle needs to overcome strong wind resistance, maintain strong power output, the engine has a large fuel injection, and the gearbox runs in the highest gear. Under these stable conditions, the ECO mode will temporarily stop working.
Therefore, the ECO model is not omnipotent. Only when the road conditions are good, such as urban expressways, outer ring roads and suburban roads, the economic speed of 60- 100km/h is as uniform as possible, and the effect of fuel saving can be achieved.
In addition, in everyone's impression, low speed means carbon deposition. First of all, we must understand that engine work will definitely produce carbon deposits, just like human skin is constantly metabolizing waste and taking a bath regularly, but ECO mode will not produce more carbon deposits than ordinary mode. Engine combustion deterioration will accelerate the formation of carbon deposits, so we infer: if it will cause combustion deterioration in ECO mode, do manufacturers dare to use it? Because the exhaust emissions will be out of the chart at this time, who dares to commit crimes against the wind today when environmental protection requirements are so strict? Everyone thinks that low speed in ECO mode will lead to insufficient combustion, which is just a personal feeling. Once the combustion deteriorates due to lack of power, the gearbox will downshift and fully burn gasoline. Therefore, the pot of carbon deposition is not backed by ecological model.
