What does pcm mean? On the bus.
ECU body computer (on-board computer) PCM engine control module, that is, all other modules in the car should communicate with ECU. PCM will receive sensor signals, control fuel supply through complicated calculation, gas distribution (electronic throttle), fuel injection and ignition timing, and intake pressure adjustment, and determine the compensation control coefficient of the engine according to temperature, load, knock and combustion conditions.
At first, PCM was not used to transmit computer data, but there was a trunk line between switches, not just a telephone signal. There are two standards for power system control module, E 1 and T 1. China adopts the European E 1 standard. The rate of T 1 is 1.544mbit/s, and the rate of E 1 is 2.048 mbit/s. In optical fiber communication system, binary optical pulse "0" code and "1" code are transmitted in optical fiber, which are binary digital signals.
Digital signals are generated by sampling, quantizing and coding continuously changing analog signals, which are called PCM (pulse code modulation), that is, pulse code modulation. This electrical digital signal is called digital baseband signal, which is generated by PCM terminal.
