Is the lunar calendar accurate?
The lunar calendar is accurate because it is more difficult to arrange and contains more information than the Gregorian calendar. The Gregorian calendar only needs to coordinate two periods. One is the rotation period of the earth, which determines how long a day is, and the other is the period of revolution of the earth, which determines how long a year is. In the Gregorian calendar, months don't mean much. In the lunar calendar, it has to coordinate three cycles, one is the earth's rotation cycle, the other is the earth's period of revolution, and the other is the moon's period of revolution around the earth.
