What is the reason for the high shift speed of the new LaCrosse?

The high shift speed of the new LaCrosse is due to the fault of the throttle position sensor, which causes the wrong signal to be transmitted when the throttle signal is turned on. The computer can enrich the fuel injection according to the signal and replace the position sensor.

Location of throttle position sensor:

The main function of throttle position sensor is to detect whether the engine is in idle or load state, acceleration or deceleration state. It is essentially a variable resistor and several switches installed on the throttle body.

Functions of throttle position sensor:

When the throttle is in the idle position, the idle contact is closed and the idle state signal is output to the computer. When the throttle valve is in other positions, the empty contact is opened to output voltage signals at different angles relative to the throttle valve. The computer will identify the engine load according to the signal voltage value, and the computer will correct the fuel injection quantity or control the fuel cut-off according to these working conditions.
