Give him a bowl of sugar water and a bowl of rice, and he won't panic at once, so he can read Buddha well. You said, "I have great merit in chanting Buddha, so I will recite Buddha." If I only read Buddhism, I may starve to death, and I will die if I starve to death. But still in the world, the problem of hunger has not been solved. This is the scope of the laws of the world.

Therefore, a poor health situation like this can sometimes be solved in a short time if it is treated properly. It's really a matter of karma, so we should repent seriously. If a person does not repent at heart, the effect is not very good.

You don't need two people to compare, just compare yourself with yourself at different times. The effect of chanting Buddha when confessing is different. Some people, because of something, or because their lives are coming to an end, look back on their lives and really repent heartily, and then wholeheartedly seek death, and that chanting Buddha has a particularly good effect. If you still have hope, nostalgia, pursuit and a lot of calculations in your heart, that's another matter.
