Does pulmonary nodule have any serious harm to human body?

Although the proportion of malignant tumors is not high, after all, the base is large, so the number of malignant pulmonary nodules is not small.

Perhaps everyone is most concerned about the benign and malignant lung nodules. Although it can't be 100% from the appearance to determine whether the lung nodule is benign or malignant, it is basically judged. Generally speaking, the smaller the diameter of pulmonary nodules, the less likely they are to be malignant and cancerous. Generally speaking, lung nodules smaller than 3mm can almost be considered benign, and the possibility of canceration is 0.2%.

If the edge of a lung nodule is irregular, with lobulation, vacuoles and burrs, it can basically be considered malignant. In addition, if the blood supply of pulmonary nodules is more, the possibility of malignancy is also greater.

If it is highly considered that lung nodules are malignant, try to remove them surgically. If the nature of pulmonary nodules is difficult to judge, we can make a definite diagnosis by regular examination or direct pathological examination. However, it should be noted that pathological examination is only a part and cannot fully represent the whole lung nodule, so there will naturally be misdiagnosis.
