Every family put up couplets, set off firecrackers, put on new clothes, went back to their parents' house for dinner from the second day, and visited relatives and friends from the third day. Every day, relatives make an appointment to go to their home for dinner. Busy all the year round, I can only go home during the Spring Festival holiday, and take the opportunity to visit my elders and relatives at home. So I especially like the Spring Festival and New Year greetings. It's very lively to visit elders I haven't seen for a long time and chat with cousins.

Every National Day or Mid-Autumn Festival, we also go back to our hometown for the holidays, but because the holidays are short, they usually last for two or three days. We don't have time to go to menstruation's house, uncle's house and menstruation's house. We can only take time out during the Chinese New Year.

Now most young people have settled in other places, rarely go back to their hometown, and fewer and fewer people walk with their relatives in their hometown, so we should cherish the custom of paying New Year greetings.
