The difference between EFI and carburetor
Carburetor is a mechanical device that mixes a certain proportion of gasoline with air under the vacuum generated by engine operation. As a precise mechanical device, carburetor uses the kinetic energy of inhaled airflow to atomize gasoline.
EFI is a kind of engine, which is very different from carburetor engine and its operation method is also very different. When EFI engine starts (including cold start), it is generally unnecessary to step on the accelerator. Because the EFI engine has the functions of cold start and enrichment, automatic cold start and fast idle, the engine can be started smoothly whether it is cold or hot.
The EFI fuel supply system is more fuel-efficient than the traditional carburetor fuel supply system.
