When the crankshaft rotates, the piston moves from top dead center to bottom dead center, and the intake valve has been opened. Due to the downward movement of the piston, the volume above the piston increases, resulting in vacuum suction. Fuel and air are atomized and mixed by carburetor into combustible mixture, which is sucked into cylinder through intake valve. After the piston reaches the bottom dead center, the intake valve closes and the intake stroke ends. 2. At the end of the intake stroke of the compression stroke, the intake valve and exhaust valve are closed. The piston moves from bottom dead center to top dead center, so that the combustible mixture entering the cylinder is compressed. When the piston reaches the top dead center, the pressure of the mixture can reach above 1470kPa and the temperature can reach 250℃-300℃, which creates good conditions for the combustion of the mixture. When the piston reaches the top dead center, the stroke ends. 3. Power Stroke When the piston approaches the top dead center in the compression stroke, an electric spark is generated between the spark plug electrodes to ignite the compressed combustible mixture, and the combustion gas expands rapidly, so that the instantaneous pressure in the cylinder reaches 2940kPa-44 10kPa and the temperature reaches 1800℃-2000℃. Under the action of high-pressure gas, the piston is forced to move from top dead center to bottom dead center and pass through the connecting rod. 4. The exhaust stroke is at the end of the power stroke. When the piston is pushed near the bottom dead center, the exhaust valve opens and the piston moves from the bottom dead center to the top dead center. Driven by the piston, the burnt exhaust gas in the cylinder is discharged from the cylinder through the exhaust valve. After the piston reaches the top dead center, the exhaust valve closes and the stroke ends. At the end of the exhaust stroke, a working cycle is completed.
