The difference between clean laboratory and biosafety laboratory

As a kind of clean room, clean laboratory applies some principles of general clean room in various structures. According to some characteristics, clean laboratories can be divided into general clean laboratories and biosafety laboratories, which are still quite different. First, the general clean laboratory

The requirements of ordinary clean rooms are relatively low, because the experiments carried out in this clean room are not contagious, so the clean room is not equipped with protective measures. However, in order to avoid the adverse effects of the environment on the experiment itself, there are still requirements for cleanliness, and the relevant requirements of the experiment must be met.

Two. Biosafety laboratory

Biosafety laboratories are stricter than ordinary clean rooms, and most of the experiments carried out in such laboratories are infectious diseases. According to the actual operation, biosafety laboratories can also be divided into four categories: P 1 to P4, and the risk degree of pathogens in these four categories gradually increases from low to high. Among them, P 1 is a familiar pathogen, which will not cause health problems, while P4 laboratory has done harm to human life and health.
