What's the festival on March 9th?

It is not a festival, but a solar term. Sanjiu refers to the third solar term in winter.

Three or nine days refers to the third "nine days" from winter to Sunday, that is, 19-27 days from winter to the future. China lunar calendar uses "99" to calculate the season, the first day of the winter solstice is "19 days", and every 9 days is a "9".

The first nine days are called "September 19th", the last nine days are called "February 9th", and so on. After 8 1 day, winter ends and spring enters. The coldest period of the year is March 9.
