Classification and function of main valve of steam turbine

1, automatic main valve: it is mainly used to adjust the speed of the steam turbine at the initial stage of rushing, and can be quickly closed when the steam turbine generator trips to prevent overspeed accidents.

2. Speed regulating valve: used to adjust the steam intake and change the speed of steam turbine.

3. Vacuum breaking door: In an emergency, opening this valve can break the vacuum of the steam turbine and make the unit stop as soon as possible.

4. Explosion door, when the pressure of the low-pressure cylinder is too high, the explosion door will be washed away to release the pressure, protect the unit and prevent the exhaust pressure and temperature of the unit from being too high.

5. Dehydrator is used to drain water during the startup and shutdown of the unit to avoid water impact.
