The working principle of the throttle is simple and easy to understand.

1. There are two kinds of throttles: the traditional cable type and the electronic throttle.

2. The traditional engine throttle control mechanism works through a cable (soft steel wire) or a pull rod, with one end connected to the throttle pedal and the other end connected to the throttle linkage plate.

3. Electronic accelerator: The driver manipulates the accelerator pedal, and the accelerator pedal position sensor generates the corresponding voltage signal and inputs it into the accelerator control unit. The control unit firstly filters the input signal to eliminate the influence of environmental noise, and then analyzes the driver's intention according to the current working mode, pedal movement and change rate.

4. Calculate the basic demand for engine torque and get the corresponding basic expected value of throttle opening. Then it communicates with the vehicle control unit through CAN bus to obtain other working conditions information and various sensor signals such as engine speed.
