Does the electronic throttle have an idle motor?
Electronic throttle has no idle motor, which depends on air pressure. Therefore, for ordinary cars, most engines are electronically controlled fuel injection gasoline engines. But if the vehicle turns off at idle speed, it is necessary to analyze the reasons. The flameout is called "non-idling", which is generally caused by the engine idling motor or the damage of the idling motor circuit. Broken vacuum tube of vacuum booster, broken diaphragm of brake booster, air leakage of intake manifold, or problems with idle speed control module of engine electronic control unit (ECU) may all lead to flameout. The function of idle motor is to adjust the engine load at idle speed, which is mainly used to bear the idle speed of the car. The idle speed of the idle motor installed on the throttle body is controlled by the engine controller. When the engine speed deviates from the idle speed, the air quantity entering the intake manifold is controlled by the throttle adjustment, and the intake manifold is controlled by the accelerator pedal line. 2. The throttle body has a bypass air passage to provide air when the engine is idling (when the throttle is closed). The pivot of the automatic idle motor enters the bypass air channel, and the air flow is adjusted through the bypass air channel. According to the input signals of various sensors, the engine controller moves the pivot of the automatic idle motor, enters and exits the bypass duct, and adjusts the idle speed of the engine. When the ignition key reaches the on position, the automatic idle motor will start to work. After the switch signal is input into ECU, ECU will detect whether the engine is idling, and make adjustments according to the information fed back by the motor position sensor. Therefore, for the idling problem, it is necessary to carefully check the condition of each component before determining the problem and repairing it.
