How to use leaves as bookmarks

Tools/raw materials:

Method one.

Colored cardboard, ribbon, glue, scissors, plastic bag, leaves.

1. Step 1: Prepare a piece of colored cardboard you like, an air-dried leaf, glue, scissors, ribbons and plastic bags.

2. Step 2: Cut the colored cardboard into plastic bags with scissors.

3. Step 3: Glue the air-dried Ginkgo biloba leaves to the colored paper.

4. Step 4: Dry the glued leaf cardboard and put it in a plastic bag.

5. Step 5: Arrange the colored paper evenly, or press it with a thicker book and shape it.

6. Step 6: Tie the ribbon to a plastic bag as decoration, thus making a leaf bookmark.

Method two.

1. Cook the leaves in a pot (it may take a long time). Add a little edible alkali to the leaves and put them in the pot.

2. After cooking for a period of time, take out a leaf with chopsticks, put it in the water in the container, and take it out after cooling. Then try to brush it gently with a toothbrush to see if you can brush off the mesophyll. If you can't cook until the mesophyll can be brushed off.

3. After the leaves are thoroughly cooked, take them out, put them in a container and rinse them with clear water. Brush off the mesophyll carefully with a toothbrush, on both sides, one at a time. If there is mesophyll that can't be cleaned, cook it for a while.

4. After brushing the mesophyll, rinse it with clear water, carefully wrap it in newspaper or facial tissue, put it in a heavy book, and take it out as a bookmark in a few days.
