A family of four can take family photos. Children can stand in front, parents can stand behind, or parents can sit on the bench and hold their children.

There should be enough light to shoot, even family photos can be taken at any time in the scene, but the light at the shooting site should be sufficient and uniform. But be careful not to shoot at noon when the outdoor sunshine is excellent. It's easy to leave a shadow on your face and you can't open your eyes.

The background should be simple, and the group photo can be taken at home or in the restaurant. If it is in the countryside, it may be in the yard. No matter where you are, there can be some Spring Festival elements in the background, such as lanterns, Spring Festival couplets, blessings, Chinese knots and other elements symbolizing family reunion. But also try to be concise and generous, so as to better highlight the main body.

It is good to use a small light source for a group photo of less than 4 people, such as a 27-inch soft box or umbrella reflector as the main light, and a large light source is needed for a group photo with a large number of people.

When taking a group photo with more than four people, I use a 48-inch umbrella reflector as the main light source. For all kinds of people, auxiliary light is reflected light plus an umbrella reflector. For a group photo with a large number of people (10 or more), use two or three umbrella-shaped reflectors on both sides of the camera to evenly disperse the light.
