What year is Ding Weinian?
Ding Weinian is one of the lunar calendars, such as 1907, 1967 and 2027 (60-year cycle). The so-called lunar calendar year, that is, trunks and branches are literally equivalent to trunks and branches. In ancient China, the sky was dominant and the earth was subordinate. The connection between heaven and stem is called heavenly stem, and the connection between earth and stem is called earthly branch. Together, it is called heavenly stems and earthly branches, or "dry branch" for short.
Ding Weinian is an integral part of the ancient lunar calendar in China. Ding Wei is one of the main branches, and this order is the 44th. The former is Bingwu, and the latter is Wushen. On the five elements of yin and yang, the heavenly stems and earthly branches belong to the fire of yang, which is a good ratio.

Calendars are not commonly used, but calendars are mostly used for numerology. Therefore, it is based on the solar term month, not the new moon, which is different from the Gregorian calendar year based on the lunar year. In fact, the year of "Ganzhi" which has been widely circulated in recent years began in beginning of spring that year. This is a numerology view, not a common folk practice.
