What is the working principle of pneumatic pressure regulating valve?

The working principle of pneumatic pressure regulating valve is that compressed gas is the power source, cylinder is the actuator, and the valve is driven by valve positioner, converter, solenoid valve, position maintaining valve, gas storage tank, gas filter and other accessories to realize on-off or proportional adjustment.

Pneumatic control valve is a right-angle rotating structure, which can be used with valve positioner to realize proportional adjustment; V-shaped valve core is most suitable for various adjustment occasions, with large rated flow coefficient, large adjustable ratio, good sealing effect, sensitive adjustment performance and small volume, and can be installed vertically and horizontally. Suitable for controlling gas, steam, liquid and other media.

Pneumatic piston actuator takes compressed air as the power source, and the crank arm rotates 90 degrees through the movement of the piston, so that the valve automatically opens and closes. Its components are: adjusting bolt, actuator box, crank arm, cylinder body, cylinder shaft, piston, connecting rod and universal shaft.

Installation principle:

(1) The installation position of pneumatic control valve should be at a certain height from the ground, and there should be a certain space above and below the valve for easy disassembly and maintenance. For regulating valves equipped with pneumatic valve positioner and handwheel, it is necessary to ensure convenient operation, observation and adjustment.

(2) The control valve should be installed on the horizontal pipeline, vertical to the pipeline, and generally supported below the valve to ensure stability and reliability. For special occasions, when the control valve needs to be installed horizontally on the vertical pipeline, it should also support the control valve (except for small-diameter control valves). When installing, avoid bringing extra pressure to the control valve).

(3) The working environment temperature of the control valve should be (-30 ~+60), and the relative humidity should not be greater than 95%.

(4) Before and after the control valve, there should be straight pipe sections, the length of which should not be less than 10 times the pipe diameter (10D), so as to avoid the short straight pipe section of the valve affecting the flow characteristics.

(5) When the diameter of the regulating valve is different from that of the process pipeline, the reducer should be used for connection. When installing a small-caliber regulating valve, it can be connected by thread. The fluid direction arrow on the valve body should be consistent with the fluid direction.
